The CV1947 (commercially the 6L6G) is a larger more powerful audio beam tetrode than the 6V6 receiver type. This was used for audio amplifiers and modulators for small Amplitude Modulated transmitters.
The KU/N identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the U denotes qualification by a USA authority and the N identifies the maker, currently unknown.
The envelope has the commercial Type designation on the envelope as 6L6G in an octagon. Made in USA on the base cap.
The top mica: heat sink on the control grid copper supports and the screen grid winding.
The top view: the beam plates are fixed by a tab that is bent into a curve to retain them.
The classic envelope is 51 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 118 mm tall.
