The Ever Ready K30C was a Mullard PM2HL battery triode made and badged for the battery company. The K30C/PM2HL was designed to have the filament powered by an accumulator and the anode circuits powered by a dry cell stack.
This is a small signal amplifier valve and has external metallising as a screen. The valve is of low impedance and low gain. The CV equivalent is CV1050.
The envelope is completely encased in gold coloured zinc paint.
The balloon envelope is 41 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 80 mm tall.
