The PM2HL battery triode was designed to have the filament powered by an accumulator and the anode circuits powered by a dry cell stack.
This is a small signal amplifier valve and has external metalising as a screen. The valve is of low impedance and low gain. The CV equivalent is number 1050.
The balloon envelope is 33 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 64 mm tall.
