The Osram P2 is an battery audio output triode with a two Volt filament.

The etched lettering is almost invisible to the naked eye, however, with the correct dark field illumination the detail is revealed.

The electrode assembly is slanted within the bulb and a glass rod is used to secure the components.

The filament tension springs lead to two inverted V or hairpin oxide coated filament strands. The grid can be clearly seen.

As above but with standard lighting.

The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 90 mm tall.
