This exhibit was marked on the envelope as a KTW62 as well as KTW61. The valve is a variable μ RF amplifier beam tetrode, and was first introduced in 1939.
The KTW62 was used in the CR100.
The classic envelope is 36 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 98 mm tall.
