The YL1030/QQZ06-40 is the quick heating version of the QQV06-40A. The valve would reach 70% of full emitting potential in 0.5 second. These valves would be used for mobile transmitters as multipliers or as final RF amplifiers.
The full operational details are given in the attached data sheet. In summary for 4 Watts of drive the output would be 85 Watts with a maximum valve dissipation of 40 Watts. These ratings are good to 200 MHz and the valve provides useful output to 500 MHz.
This exhibit was made by the parent company Philips in Holland.
The central cathode and screen grid with single sided grids on either side of the cathode. The separate anodes are fixed to the top glass.
The Base is sintered glass and the pins are gold plated.
The wide glass tube envelope is 43 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7A base pins, is 89 mm tall.
