The 6BW6 is essentially the 6V6GT re-engineered for the all-glass miniature format. The 6BW6 ran hot and the experimental version (here) show the effects of heat on the paper label. This exhibit is a later sample and looks unused. The production version can be seen here.
The anode and at the top can be seen the bright beam plate and copper control grid supports with heat radiating fin on top.
The end seam of the anode around the supporting rod.
Thanks to Peter (G3SUY) for donating this exhibit.
The thin glass tube envelope is 21 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9A base pins is 58 mm tall.
