The CV1235 is a triode oscillator or RF amplifier. To achieve a maximum operating frequency of 100 MHz the grid is taken to a second top cap. The maximum anode dissipation is 50 Watts. The two prototypes were the TY1-50 from Mullard and the DET12 from M-OV. The old service code was NT58A.
