The CV1066 is a triode also known as the VR66. The maximum operating frequency is 100 MHz. The prototype was the Mazda P41 that was modified to have a 6.3 Volt heater - the P61.The KB/EN identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the EN identifies the maker as Thorn-AEI, Sunderland.
The reverse is plain zinc metallic paint.The classic envelope is 32 mm in diameter and, excluding the MO base pins, is 70 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet. |
