The CV1430 is a high slope screened HP pentode. The construction on the RH variant is designed to reduce hum and microphony. It is not clear if the CV specification was for the standard version or the RH variant
The design use is voltage amplification for audio or video signals.
The zinc paint has a B on the reverse.
The classic envelope is 39 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7 base pins, is 113 mm tall.
