The CV1092 is a miniature signal diode. It was used in demodulation and other signal rectification duties for TV and Radar. The CV specification cites the EA50 and VR92 as prototypes.Working at 45 MHz a physically small diode with minimal lead inductance was required. Our exhibit D1 is physically identical, but has a 4.0 Volt heater. The thin glass tube envelope is 11 mm in diameter and, including the B3G base pins, is 47 mm tall.References: Data-sheet & 1040. |
