The 5794 is a fixed tuned CW UHF oscillator. It contains a pencil triode and tuned cavities to produce an output of 300 mW.
The RVC logo and on the right is the tuning screw.
The heater wires and short cathode tube connection.
The anode seal and at the lower left is the coaxial output port.
The clamp holding the outer cylinder closed and a better view of the output probe.

The thin metal tube envelope is 22 mm in diameter and, excluding the base wires, is 600 mm tall.
