The 6661 is a high impedance, medium gain signal amplifier for RF or IF amplification. It has a low heater current requirement and was designed for use in car radio and other mobile equipment where frequent on-off cycling would occur.
Electrically the 6661 is identical to the 6BH6.
This American valve has USA etched into the glass and the maker or resellers name of King printed on.
The grids seen through the hole in the end wall of the anode.
The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
