The VT510 (Later renamed the CV1510) is a single beam tetrode and is an early all glass envelope design. The maximum full power frequency is 60 MHz. The output is modest and the dissipation high in relation to the Class C output power and this is consistent with early VHF devices.
The old stores code of 10E/572 is also on the glass and clearer than the VT designation that has lost some of the paint.
The anode is blackened for best heat dissipation, There are screens top and bottom and the control grid has small heat radiating fins on the top of the supports.
The side flanges on the anode both increase radiating area and provide fixing points to the support rods.
The wide glass tube envelope is 31 mm in diameter, and excluding the B9G base pins is 59 mm tall.
