The Type 79 is a Class B double audio output triode with a common cathode. The rated output for 250 Volts on the anodes is 8 Watts.
The twin triode sections.
Each section has a pair of grids that are connected together. The cathodes are joined together at the top and the connection is the central rod between the sections.
The grids of T1 are connected at the top. The second triode has the grids joined at the bottom under the lower mica.
The envelope is mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is mm tall.
