The Radio Record DL2 is a battery detector triode, whereas the Mullard DL2 is an audio output pentode.
The paper label says Jan 1935.
The bright anode, grid and filament.
The identification etched into the dome of the envelope. The grid winding can be seen as can the filament.
The oxide coated filament is a single inverted V and the tension spring can be seen above the top mica.
The balloon envelope is 38 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 83 mm tall.
