The Dario Universal Bivolt triode appeared in 1929 and was revised in 1931. The top set of parameters are from 1929 and the lower set are for the later version.
The etched lettering is incomplete but enough remains for an identification and the fact that this valve was made in France. The ribbed base cap is typical of Dario valves of this period.
Looking under the dark coating the pinch and horizontal triode section can be seen.
The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 89 mm tall.
Reference: 1043. Type Universal Bivolt was first introduced in 1929. See also 1929 adverts.
