The QQC04/15 is a directly heated VHF double beam tetrode for use as an amplifier, oscillator or tripler. The anode dissipation is 2 x 6 Watts.
The face view of one anode. At he top can be seen the wire turns of the filament tension spring. The two halves of the spring extend and form a flat U shape so that the filament is held apart by a few mm and thus the two lengths of filament pass side by side down the valve.
The two anodes with central column showing the beam plate. The form of the filament springs can be seen at the top.
The two grids are aligned and thus have the same pitch.
The wide glass tube envelope is 27 mm in diameter, and excluding the B8B base pins is 81 mm tall.
