The GP2 is a general purpose triode from 1926 and features a 2.0 Volt 100 mA filament for operation from a single lead acid accumulator.
The etched lettering identifies the valve as a GP2 and states that it is a general purpose type.
The base pins are of simple split pin construction with the wire soldered at the top. The line indicates the anode pin.
The box base gives the basic operating details.
The balloon envelope is 37 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 79 mm tall.
