The 5932 or 6L6WGA is a larger more powerful audio beam tetrode valve than the 6V6G receiver types.
The 5932 was used for audio amplifiers and also as a series pass element for stabilised power supplies. It is a rugged version of the 6L6GT, designed to resist vibration, as is the 5881.
The valve is electrically equivalent to the 6L6G but is of a squat tubular construction and higher anode and screen dissipation.
In this Sylvania exhibit the construction is of two beam tetrode units connected in parallel.
The ribbed oval anode of one section.
The wide glass tube envelope is 38 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 84 mm tall.
