The VHFP/13L is a variable μ pentode designed for universal mains sets (AC or DC) and a heater chain running at 200 mA. This valve probably dates to the mid to late 1930's.
The external metallising paint obscures all details. All that can be seen at the top is the control grid connection and the top mica.The classic envelope is 42 mm in diameter, and excluding the Ct8 base pins is 102 mm tall. |
