The 12AU7A was designed as a pair of general purpose voltage amplifier triodes. Two independent valves exist within the envelope.The anode is formed into a rectangular shell with heat radiating side wings.The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 47 mm tall.Reference: Data-sheet.
