The ECL80 is a triode, output pentode for audio use, itis a low power device with the triode feeding the pentode for a compact single end audio stage.
The interesting thing about this valve is that it is UK made but it is marked as distributed by Ediswan rather than carry a Mazda brand.
The single cathode with the triode mounted at right angles to the pentode.
Made in the UK.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 59 mm tall.
