The Cossor 2-P is a directly heated audio output triode.
The anode load was 3,000Ω, the cathode resistor was 550Ω and the audio power output was 2.0 Watts at 5% distortion.
The anode box is small front to back.
The face view shows four inverted V filament loops. The wire is oxide coated.
The filament tension springs sit on the top mica. The grid supports are spaced with a metal plate. The anode has ridges pressed into it for extra rigidity.
The pinch and lower end of the anode. Here the grid can be clearly seen as can the fact that the filament is held secure within folded supports.
The classic envelope is 50 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 116 mm tall.
