Super Power (4)V

Extras ▼

The Super Power (4)V from Dario is a battery audio output triode. The name has more power than the small triode.
The box anode has a double sided control grid and a M shaped filament. The ribbed base cap is typical Dario.
The side of the box anode showing the way the supports embedded in the pinch have been formed to receive the triode assembly.
The remains of the filament are just visible.
A better view of the filament and ribbed anode box. Note the absence of filament tensioning springs.
The grid winding is clearer in this image.
The balloon envelope is 45 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 88 mm tall.
