The YD2 from Triotron is described as a high slope power valve. This translates to a battery audio output valve.
The dome with the etched markings enhanced to make them easier to read.
The bright anode and support struts.
The electrode assembly is mounted at 45 ° within the envelope.
The balloon envelope is 48 mm in diameter, and excluding the B4 base pins is 88 mm tall.
Reference: 1043. Type YD2 was first introduced in 1930.
