We CV54 is clearly a half wave rectifier with the anode brought out to the top cap. The filament is coated wire and passes vertically through the anode cavity six times. The interesting feature is the metal fixings of the anode support rods to the thick mica insulators.
The anode has rounded ends and measures 6 x 34 x 32 mm and has side cooling flanges.
The classic envelope is 47 mm in diameter and excluding the B4 base pins the valve is 123 mm high.
