The CV394 (EM34) is a dual shadow magic eye tuning indicator. Mullard describe this device as suited to both receiver tuning indication and test equipment null indications. The grid voltage change is 0 - 5 volts and 0 - 16 volts. The display is viewed end on.
The KB/DJ identifies this valve as being made to specification K1001 or K1006, the B denotes qualification by a UK authority and the DJ identifies the maker as Wiener Radio Werke, Abbeygasse 1, Vienna.
The wide glass envelope is 25 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 74 mm tall.
