The CV5094 is an output pentode with an anode dissipation of 12 Watts and is equivalent to the commercial EL86. The CV5094 is designed for a higher anode current and lower anode voltage than the EL84. This would suit transformerless designs, but heater chains were employing 300 mA or 100 mA valves and the CV5094 would not fit into the trend of design. It probably had specific service design requirements.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B9A base pins, is 68 mm tall.
