The 6BG6G beam tetrode was designed as a line output valve for television applications.
The valve can withstand a positive anode surge of 6,000 Volts and a negative grid surge of -400 Volts. The anode dissipation is up to 20 Watts and the screen dissipation is 3.2 Watts.
The classic envelope is 48 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins, is 121 mm tall.
