The PM2 is an audio output triode made with the The Azide process to produce an oxide coated filament for the good emission at low temperatures. The filament is for accumulator use and the anode is designed for dry battery operation.
In 1929 a revised PM2 was issued. The output power was 150 mW and the operating parameters are shown in the lower box.
The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 86 mm tall.
Reference: 1043. Type PM2 was first introduced in 1926. See also 1926 adverts.
