The CV575 data-sheet indicates that the CV575 is identical to the 5U4G full wave rectifier. It is a general purpose rectifier.

The anodes have side flanges for cooling and fixing to the vertical supports.

The top mica showing the oxide coated ribbon filaments and the tension springs.

The classic envelope is 51 mm in diameter and, excluding the IO base pins, is 113 mm tall.
