This P410 from Lissen is a triode receiving valve. The type designation P410 dates from 1929. The design use is as an audio output stage.
The filament is oxide coated and the valve has magnesium gettering.
The anode is of box constructed made from thin sheet stiffened by having ribs pressed into the sheet. The filament forms an M shape with four lengths passing through the grid.
The etching on the dome is particularly clear.
The Pinch. The grid is welded to support rods showing that it was formed before being attached. The anode is spot welded to the supports moulded into the pinch.
The balloon envelope is 42 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 94 mm tall.
