The 66KU is a full wave rectifier from Cossor that offers a respectable output current of 90 mA, sufficient for most domestic apparatus.
The anodes are stacked vertically over the common central indirectly heated cathode. Each anode is formed into a cross for better heat dissipation.
The common oxide coated cathode cylinder.
The maximum reservoir capacitor, a measure of the peak current rating, was 50 µF. The minimum effective series resistance is 300 Ohms.
The thin glass tube envelope is 20 mm in diameter and, excluding the B8A base pins, is 75 mm tall.
