The AS4100 from Tungsram is an RF tetrode or screen grid valve as they were called in 1930 when this was issued.
It is described as a Barium valve and this is the Azide process.
Looking at the electrodes it is clearly a screened grid tetrode for RF and IF use in broadcast receivers.
The balloon envelope is 50 mm in diameter and, excluding the B5 base pins, is 115 mm tall.
References: Data-sheet & 1043. Type AS4100 was first introduced in 1930. See also 1930 adverts.
