The DW2 full wave rectifier is a directly heated device with a 100 mA filament requirement. Normally the 100 mA valves are found in sets designed for both AC and DC supplies and so do not have a mains transformer. A full wave rectifier is only used with a mains transformer so as to supply the pair of anodes.

The DW2 is rated to work with no more than a 16 μF reservoir capacitor.

The dome carries the identification of both manufacturer and type.

The envelope is mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is mm tall.
