The CV4063 is a special quality audio output valve that dates from 1962.
For self bias the cathode resistor should be 740 Ohms. The anode load is 16,000 Ohms. An output of 1.4 Watts is possible in a single ended configuration. Distortion figues are 10%. The performance is equal to the commercial EL91.
The CV4063 is also specified as an HF pentode with useful gain into the low VHF range.
See also CV136 the original CV badged EL91.
The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the B7G base pins, is 46 mm tall.
