The K301 looks to be a normal planar triode but it is in fact a Klystron without a built-in cavity.
EEV do not list the K301 in their 1971 booklet but the K302 remained. This suggests that the K301 format had been overtaken by the all metal reflex klystron design.
The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and, excluding the base pins, is 56 mm tall. The flange is 32 mm diameter.
Reference: Observation. Type K301 was first introduced in 1958. See also 1958 adverts.
