The UU3 was a stalwart used in tens of thousands of (smaller) Murphy sets during the later 1930s. Lots of UU3s survive, mostly in good working order. Note the characteristic shapes of the glass envelopes.

The UU3 full wave rectifier was designed for an input of 250 Volts RMS, and an output current of 60 mA.

The balloon envelope is 54 mm in diameter and, excluding the B4 base pins, is 96 mm tall.
