The CV3508 is a special quality version of the ECC81 (12AT7) VHF double triode. The civilian name is M8162. These valves are designed for for RF stages, oscillators and frequency multipliers.

The thin glass tube envelope is 17 mm in diameter and excluding the B9A base pins, is 47 mm tall.
