ETEL, Electronic Tubes Ltd. High Wycombe Berkshire. Cossor moved all their Valve and Cathode-ray Tube business to a wholly owned subsidiary starting in 1943.
In 1949 EMI purchases ordinary (voting) shares in ETEL, and takes management control. Cossor retains an investment in ETEL, purchasing its valve requirements from EMI and from M-OV, which was jointly owned by EMI and GEC.
In or just after 1956 Cossor disposes of its holding in ETEL, and withdraws from valve and CRT manufacture.
