The B12A or duodecal base was introduced in the early 1950s and was used on cathode-ray tubes both magnetic and electrostatically deflected types.See Valves at the Radio Exhibition 1952.
The B12A has 12 pins arranged on a 27mm diameter circle. Numbering is clockwise when looking into the base of the valve.
