The CV120 is a cavity magnetron with an anode dissipation of 1,000 Watts. With 23 kV on the anode it can generate pulses at 10.7 cm of 360 kW peak power. The prototype was the BTH Type MF.
In 1941 the Cv120 was used in the GL3 system where it was pulse modulated by a pair of CV22s
