The 6B10 has 6.3 Volt heater for wiring in parallel. The 8B10 uses a 450 mA heater for use in series heater chains. Both are multi valves of the Compactron series. In this case the envelope contains two triodes and a pair of signal diodes.
The two triodes have copper grid supports. The diodes at the other end share a common cathode.
The 12 pin base.
The triode anodes are stitched together at their side flanges. The diode anodes: one mounts at the top and the other placed the other way up sits around the lower part of the cathode.
The wide glass tube envelope is 28 mm in diameter, and excluding the B12C base pins is 38 mm tall.
Reference: Data-sheet. Type 6B10 was first introduced in 1961. See also 1961 adverts.
