The SE1444 is identical to the Moorhead VT-A. Most had obvious gettering but some, like this exhibit, have clear envelopes.

This type of valve was used for the first Trans-Atlantic flight by the US Navy.

The box for this exhibit. The box measures about 50 mm square and 128 mm in length.

The balloon envelope is 44 mm in diameter and, excluding the UV base pins, is 104 mm tall.
