The 6AU6 was the prototype for the CV2524. The valve is a sharp cut-off pentode. Usage is RF or AF amplification.

The hole in the anode allows a glimpse of the three wire grids within.

Face view with screening for the anode lead to the base pin.

The thin glass tube envelope is 18 mm in diameter and excluding the B7G base pins, is 53 mm tall.
