The DM71 is a subminiature tuning indicator. It was designed for use in FM tuners, tape recorders etc. It features high sensitivity.
The viewing window. The glow extends up and down the tapered gap.
The thin glass tube envelope is 10 mm in diameter, and excluding the base pins is 42 mm tall.
