The 1B86 is a small self-quenched counter tube for gamma radiation. It is sensitive to high energy beta rays and above in energy and frequency.
The anode is the centre lead.
The thin glass tube envelope is 6 mm in diameter and, excluding the base wires, is 90 mm tall.
