The CV1347 was originally known as the ARTH2. The AR Stands for Army Receiving.
The Mullard ECH35 Triode Hexode was the commercial equivalent and prototype.
The tubular construction suggests a post war valve made for replacement purposes.
The plain screening paint of the reverse side.
Seen from the top the central cylindrical cathode has the control grid close by.
The wide glass tube envelope is 29 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 94 mm tall.
