The Z62 is an indirectly heated HF pentode. The CV1192 was based on the Z62 as were the earlier names of Navy NR79 and Army ARP21. This exhibit carries the old stores code of 10E/214.
There is a screen above the top mica. The control grid supports are copper.
The carton containing this exhibit contained this tag. The CV1192 is the same valve as the Z62
The classic envelope is 30 mm in diameter, and excluding the IO base pins is 72 mm tall.
